While attending law school she was a medical/legal nurse consultant to local area law firms and worked at the Mississippi Nurses Association (MNA) as a Health Affairs Coordinator and legislative Lobbyist, where she was involved in several state level committees such as the U.S. Attorney’s Office Health Care Fraud Task Force and the State Department of Health’s - Health Management Organizations Quality Assurance Committee (HMO QA). During this time, she was also chosen as a state (MNA) and national American Nurses Association (ANA) delegate, served as Treasurer in the District #13 Nursing Association and was Chair of the Mississippi Nurses Association Political Action Committee (MNA-PAC).

Upon her graduation from Law School, Mrs. Frascogna created a quarterly newsletter, The Mississippi Nursing Law Review, that provided legal information and education to nurses throughout Mississippi and also became a Contributing Editor/Legal Column Coordinator for the national official nursing journal of the American Nurses Association, the American Journal of Nursing (AJN), which had a circulation of over 350,000 subscribers. She joined forces soon thereafter with her husband, J. Patrick Frascogna and early in her legal career gained legal knowledge and experience in multi-district class action Pharmaceutical defense work, Administrative and Elder Law litigation, which included issues involving Medicaid/Medicare, Social Security, disability and mental health issues and federal regulations including administrative appeals and hearings, eligibility analysis, special needs trust and elder abuse issues. Licensed in both Nevada and California, his extensive experience over the past 17 years includes representing consumers in bankruptcy, estate planning, and small businesses. He has also served as a Child Support Master, Truancy Master and a temporary judge before Family Court which has proven invaluable in his practice in the area of family law.
