Case No. 2005 0516-CA Utah Court of Appeals

Case: Appeal from a judgment in favor of MBNA Bank.

Decision: Judgment was reversed for further proceedings because the Appellant filed a pleading that contested the amounts claimed by MBNA Bank.

Case:Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Violation

Decision: In granting partial summary judgment, the Utah Federal District Court Ruled that MFG violated the FDCPA by collecting a debt in Utah from a consumer that had no minimum contacts with Utah.
