Citi retools iPad app
February 22, 2012
One of the nation's top credit card lenders recently relaunched an application for the iPad that is designed to help users get a better handle on their accounts.
Citi recently unveiled the latest version of its app for the iPad, which allows consumers to visually track their credit card accounts and utilize account analysis tools to better manage their card. While the app originally came out in July 2011, it has recently received a major overhaul to be more engaging and easier for its more than 20 million cardholders to understand how their accounts work.
"Citi cardholders can now use the iPad to analyze their spending habits and compare spending and financial goals with customizable graphs and charts, and we're proud to be the first major credit card provider to offer those kinds of powerful tools," said Tracey Weber, head of internet and mobile banking, for Citi's North America consumer banking arm.
In addition to this application, consumers can also take the time to better protect their finances by checking their credit reports. These documents sometimes contain unfair or incorrect information that may drag down their credit scores.
