Cody W. Johnson

Directing Attorney

Cody Johnson is the Directing Attorney of Lexington Law Firm. Cody is a 5th generation Arizonan and as a child, he lived in a small town until his family moved to the Phoenix metro area. He grew up around horses and enjoyed his time in rodeo and working on a ranch during the summers. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom. He served as a sergeant in a light armored reconnaissance unit. Cody was later married and had several children while working full time and attending his undergraduate classes in the evenings, before graduating and entering law school. Thereafter, he began his legal career while becoming a recognized criminal prosecutor known for effectively representing the People and assisting victims. Since joining Lexington Law Firm in 2014, Cody has found it a privilege to utilize his legal experience to now represent clients in their fight for consumer rights. From victim advocate to consumer advocate, Cody has spent the last decade with Lexington Law Firm working to ensure clients have a fair and accurate credit profile. As Directing Attorney, Cody is working diligently to move the firm forward as consumer advocates while expanding our span of influence in the consumer rights of each client.

John Heath

Associate Attorney

John Heath was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He received his BA from the University of Utah and his Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University. While attending law school, John spent a semester abroad in Cairo, Egypt, (through Seton Hall University) where he studied Islamic Law. John became Directing Attorney of Lexington Law Firm in 2004 and stepped down from that role in 2024. John is admitted to the practice of law in the following states: Utah, Colorado, Washington D. C., Georgia, Texas, and New York.

Alexis Peacock

Associate Attorney

Alexis Peacock was born in Santa Cruz, California and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. In 2013, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Criminology, graduating cum laude from Arizona State University. Ms. Peacock received her Juris Doctor from Arizona Summit Law School and graduated in 2016. During law school, she was a teaching assistant for Property Law participated in the International Human Rights study abroad program in Mexico City. Prior to joining Lexington Law Firm, Ms. Peacock worked in Criminal Defense as both a paralegal and practicing attorney. Ms. Peacock represented clients in criminal matters varying from minor traffic infractions to serious felony cases. She is passionate about defending her client’s rights and is eager to do the same as a consumer advocate. Alexis is licensed to practice law in Arizona. She is located in the Phoenix office.

Vincent R. Mayr

Associate Attorney

Vince has considerable expertise in the field of bankruptcy law. He has represented clients in more than 3,000 bankruptcy matters under chapters 7, 11, 12, and 13 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. Vince concentrates his legal practice in helping debtors, but understands the needs of creditors as well. In addition to bankruptcy and credit repair, Vince has handled a wide variety of cases, from real estate to family law, criminal defense to wills and trusts, corporate formation to corporate dissolution and owner disputes, as well as other types of cases. As a result, Vince has a broad base of knowledge which he applies to help clients with their legal matters. Vince earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Government from the University of Maryland. His Masters of Public Administration degree was earned from Golden Gate University School of Public Administration. His Juris Doctor was earned at Golden Gate University School of Law, San Francisco, California. While serving in the U.S. Army, Vince was posted to Ft. Jackson, South Carolina; Berlin, West Germany; and Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. He was awarded the Army of Occupation Medal for his service in West Berlin. Vince enjoys his time with Lexington Law, traveling, Disney, family, and his Harley Davidson motorcycle “Alice”. Vince’s memberships include the ABAIC (Arizona Bankruptcy American Inn of Court (Alumnus)), American Legion, Harley Owner’s Group, Hillsdale College, NRA (National Rifle Association), the Planetary Society, Riders USA, VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars), and other valuable organizations. Vince is licensed to practice law in Arizona, Nevada, and Colorado. He is located in the Phoenix office.

Sarah Raja

Associate Attorney

Sarah Raja was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2010 she earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Arizona State University. Sarah then clerked at personal injury firm while she studied for the Law School Admissions Test. In 2016, Sarah graduated from Arizona Summit Law School with a Juris Doctor degree. While in law school Sarah had a passion for mediation and participated in the school’s mediation clinic and mediated cases for the Phoenix Justice Courts. Prior to joining Lexington Law Firm, Sarah practiced in the areas of real property law, HOA law, family law, and disability law in the State of Arizona. In 2020, Sarah opened her own mediation firm with her business partner, where they specialize in assisting couples through divorce in a communicative and civilized manner. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with family and friends, practicing yoga, and traveling.

Moriah Beaver

Associate Attorney

Moriah is an attorney practicing in consumer advocacy at Lexington Law. Before joining Lexington, she represented plaintiffs in personal injury litigation, dealing with claims arising from car accidents, slip and falls, and dog bites. Moriah studied English at Brigham Young University for her undergraduate degree and went on to graduate from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School. She is from Hau’ula, Hawaii, but has been a resident of Utah for over 10 years now.

Vincent Adams

Vincent Adams is a lifetime resident of Birmingham, AL and is a licensed attorney in the State of Alabama and the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Corporate Finance and Investment Management from the University of Alabama in 1993. He obtained his law degree from the Birmingham School of Law. Mr. Adams has represented individuals in a variety of litigation, including real estate and contract disputes, consumer debt defense, debt harassment issues, credit report issues, and bankruptcy. Mr. Adams is a member of the American Bar Association, Alabama State Bar Association, Birmingham Bar Association, and the National Association of Consumer Advocates. Prior to the practice of law, Mr. Adams was employed over ten years with the largest commercial credit rating agency and with one of the major consumer credit reporting agencies. He is married to his lovely wife, Carol having one daughter together, Katie.

Lance C. Martin

Lance Martin was born in Philadelphia and grew up in the Chicago area. He graduated from Lake Forest College with a double major in Economics and Political Science. After a 15-year career in Purchasing and Inventory Control he entered Law school at Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he was the Managing editor of the Law Review and was admitted to the Order of the Coif. He has over 20 years' experience as a litigator in Chicago, in small, medium and large firms and in solo practice, with experience in commercial and tort litigation, asset recovery and collections, bankruptcy, insurance, labor, personal injury, and securities issues in State and Federal courts.

Cary S. Smalley

Cary Smalley is licensed to practice law in both the state and federal courts of Kansas and Missouri. He is committed to helping clients get a fresh start and regain financial stability. Prior to opening The Smalley Law Firm, LLC in 2011 Cary worked as an attorney at a highly respected Kansas City law firm since 2005. Cary received both his undergraduate degree and law degree from The University of Kansas. During law school he was a volunteer with VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) preparing tax returns for lower income individuals and also served as an officer of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. Cary is a member of The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection and serves as a volunteer budgeter at Community LINC. He and his wife reside in Overland Park with their son and two dogs. Since opening his own practice Cary is focusing his efforts on providing competent, reliable and affordable bankruptcy representation to his clients. Craig Holcomb

Craig L. Holcomb received his B.A. from St. Mary's College of Maryland in 1986 and his J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1990. While in law school he was a member of the Maryland Journal of International Law and Trade between 1988 and 1990. Craig L. Holcomb has been a licensed attorney in the State of Maryland since 1990. In addition, he is a member of the Bars of the State of Florida and the United States District Court for Maryland. He is currently an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Montgomery County Bar Association. He has tried cases in the State District Courts and Circuit Courts in all jurisdictions throughout Maryland, the Court of Special Appeals and Court of Appeals in Maryland, the U.S. District Court for Maryland, Baltimore and Greenbelt Divisions and the Federal Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit in Richmond, Virginia. Keith Nathanson

Keith Nathanson was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and received his B.S in Biology in 1985. He immediately went on to receive his Juris Doctor Cum Laude at the Detroit College of Law and was admitted to the Michigan State Bar in November 1988. Mr. Nathanson is also admitted in the Eastern District of Michigan, the Western District of Michigan, and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. Thomas Mullen

Attorney Thomas T. Mullen earned his BA degree from Kent State University in 1975, his Masters in Psychiatric Counseling from Case Western Reserve University in 1979, and his JD from the University of Akron's School of Law in 1985. Mr. Mullen has served on various volunteer boards and committees including the Akron Bar Association, the Mental Health Board and the Legal Aide for Summit County, and Massilon State Hospital. Regina M. Banis

Regina M. Banis is admitted to the bar in the State of South Carolina, and has practiced on Hilton Head and in Bluffton since 1994. Regina earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1988, and her J.D. from the University of San Diego in 1992. Regina's practice areas include commercial and residential real estate transactions, including equity lines of credit, refinances, purchases and sales, contract preparation, ß 1031 tax deferred exchanges, business closings and corporate work. In addition, Regina handles simple estate planning and probate matters. Edward Kress

Ed Kress was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area. He attended college at IUP majoring in history/pre-law. He received his law degree from Duquesne University in 1997. Ed has been practicing law for over ten years and enjoys helping the people in his community. Ed currently assists Shepherd's Heart Veterans Home, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless veterans. Ed served as a Councilman for Allegheny County and was the honorary chairman for the first annual Shepherd's Heart Veterans Home fundraiser in 2006. Ed also is a business member of his local volunteer fire company and a member of the Kiwanis Club.

John Fultz

Of Counsel to Lexington Law1

Licensed in Indiana

John Fultz was not a born Hoosier, but he became one when he moved to Indiana to attend Indiana University, Bloomington. Over the next ten years, he went on to become student body president and then receive his Bachelor of Arts (1994), Master of Public Affairs (1999), and Juris Doctor from Indiana University (1999). While living in Indiana, he worked in Bloomington, Lafayette, Nashville, Greenwood, and Terre Haute. Mr. Fultz then joined the US Air Force Judge Advocate General Corps as a military attorney. During his military career, he served in Colorado, Germany, South Korea, Iraq, Virginia, and Washington DC. While on active duty, Mr. Fultz practiced in a number of areas including criminal law, family law, cybersecurity, civil law, and legal assistance. In 2006, Mr. Fultz received the American Bar Association’s Family Law Award for his contributions to family law matters in the US Air Force. During his time in Iraq, Mr. Fultz pioneered the first school for the Iraqi Army’s Legal Advisors. After his military service, Mr. Fultz joined a federal financial regulatory agency before becoming the Of Counsel attorney for the state of Indiana on behalf of Lexington Law.

Jeff Cogan

Of Counsel to Lexington Law1

Licensed in Nevada

Jeffrey Cogan was born in raised in Northridge, California. In 1984, he earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science from U.C.L.A. After working for his father in the pension plan administration business, he attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Following his admissions to the California Bar and then the Nevada Bar, he opened his practice in October 1992. The practice includes representing debtors in bankruptcies, parties in family law cases, business litigation, probate and estate planning. More recently, he has focused the practice on bankruptcy litigation, business breach of contract cases, and in August 2024, won an appeal in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, a published decision declaring the federal court’s exclusive jurisdiction over wrongs committed in a bankruptcy case. He is an avid scuba diver, often traveling to the Caribbean, Fiji, and the Philippines to see sharks, having been within a few feet of a 20 foot, 1500 pound tiger shark.
